UK Agent Quality Framework
Our commitment to quality & ethical practice
Zarnab International supports the UK Agent Quality Framework (AQF) — a collaborative, sector-wide initiative established by UK universities and sector bodies to uphold the integrity and high standards of UK higher education. As a trusted recruitment partner, we adhere to the National Code of Ethical Practice for UK Education Agents and the British Council's Good Practice Guide, and we make both documents available to every student below.
What this means for students
Working with a UK university through Zarnab, you can expect us to:
Empower informed decisions
We give students accurate, objective information so they can choose the right course, institution and destination with confidence.
Good governance & professionalism
Our counselling teams operate under clear policies, written agreements and the standards set out in the National Code of Ethical Practice.
Ethical, student-first practice
We act in the best interests of every student — offering honest advice free from misleading claims or undue pressure.
Transparency & accountability
We are open about our partnerships and processes, and we welcome feedback and complaints so we can continually improve.
Framework documents
UK universities require their recruitment partners to host these guidance documents. Download or read them here at any time.

The National Code of Ethical Practice for UK Education Agents
The standards and best practice that UK education agents are expected to uphold, built on the ethical framework of the London Statement.
The five standards of the National Code
The National Code of Ethical Practice is built on five standards that shape how we work with students and UK providers every day.
Organisational behaviour
Act professionally, honestly and responsibly; avoid or declare conflicts of interest; and comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Ethical business practice
Promote ourselves and our partner providers fairly and honestly, and be transparent about which services are provider-paid or student-paid.
Objective advice and guidance
Introduce a suitable range of providers aligned to each student's profile and never claim endorsements or relationships that do not exist.
Student-centred practice
Advocate for qualified students, acting in their best interests with realistic, appropriately tailored information and counselling.
Organisational competence
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the UK, our partner providers and the skills needed to deliver professional practice competently.
Our ethical principles
The framework draws on the underlying principles of the London Statement, which guide every interaction we have with students and partner institutions.
Choosing an education agent
These independent resources help students understand what to expect from a quality education agent and how to verify accredited partners.
Have feedback or a concern?
We take our commitments seriously. If you feel our service has not met the standards of the Agent Quality Framework, please get in touch — we welcome the opportunity to put things right.
