Yami Gautam is all set for a new look, in her upcoming thriller ‘A Thursday’. Gautam is excited to play a kindergarten teacher called Naina Jaiswal, and is excited about the character’s complexity and nuances. She will be seen in a role where she takes children hostage and the drama unfolds as a negotiations kick in between Gautam’s character and a female cop, played by Neha Dhupia.
The trailer shows very interesting elements in each of the characters. Gautam takes 16 children hostage and refuses to let them go without being paid 5 crore rupees. Dhupia, who plays a pregnant cop (she was also actually pregnant during these shoots) is shown as the person who negotiates her way with Gautam.
“I am going to surprise the whole nation,” says Gautam.
